bring a snack to share tomorrow to RIC

Dear RIC friends

As you may know tomorrow following the service we will have a time of discussion, which is open to everyone, and then the vote by the official church members, concerning the new pastoral team of the Hollands and Hendrix. We encourage everyone to stay and participate as we will also be talking about the strategy and ideas for the future of RIC. I ask that you bring along some snacks to share that we could eat during our meeting (sandwiches, chips, cookes, crackers, dessert etc) and drinks.

Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow,

Chris Hendrix sermon from Sunday

Dear RIC friends

I hope you're well. I know that not everyone was able to be present this past Sunday. We were able to do a video of Chris Hendrix (candidate for new pastor) sermon. It was a strong sermon but of course no one person or ministry should also be judged just on one sermon either (I wouldn't want to be!). Hopefully you've taken opportunities to visit with Chris and Kristan Hendrix over these past days and get to know them. Still if you'd like to watch the sermon from Sunday you can find it here:

Dear all

Remember that this Sunday Oct. 9 we will not have a service at St. George's because of our church wide retreat in Spoleto. See you back at St. George's school on Oct. 16.

the story of a refugee at RIC

Dear RIC friends

Some of you were able to be with us last Sunday as we focused on "Serving Others", part 3 of our church purpose statement. As a part of this we recognized the work of Debbie and others with the refugees and migrant workers in Rome. One such refugee, Victory, was able to share his story with the congregation. Below is a short resume of it, in case you were not able to be with us. Continue to pray for Victory and so many others in need.
