JUNE 5: HELLO AND GOODBYE SUNDAY. POT LUCK LUNCH

Dear RIC family

WELCOME: I hope you're well. I wanted to let you know that on Sunday June 5th during our 11am worship service we will officially welcome our new ministry intern, Christian Dibert, who will be working with us the rest of 2016, mostly in the areas of worship and youth ministry. We get a chance to invest in him by providing some scholarship money and he invests in our church and its future!  If you'd like to give directly to support this ministry, please indicate it on your offering envelope or internet gift as "Intern".

Visit of a potential new pastor June 16-19, 2016

Dear all

As many of you know our church was planted here in Rome by the International Baptist Convention. We are working with them as a part of a larger church planting movement through which the IBC hopes to plant churches in many cities in Europe and around the world.

Because my family is slated to move back to the US in the summer of 2017 we have been working with the IBC to help identify a potential pastor/church planter who might be willing to come and continue the work we all have started together.

assistance for Rockson, a friend in need!

Dear RIC friends

As some of you already know, Rockson, who regularly attends RIC, was attacked and subsequently hospitalized most of last week. He was released on Friday but his only place to live, as an refugee from Ghana, is a camp for refugees in Castelnuovo. So Mary Stuart Miller has taken him in to help him recover from his wounds, which include a fracture to his spine and many stitches on his face and head. He is able to walk and is improving each day, praise be to God.
