Who We Are

We are a creative community of Christians seeking to follow Christ. We do this through a creative use of the arts: visual, musical and theatrical, to allow God to speak to us in a variety of ways. We involve the talents of our church community to express the truths that we find in the Bible and to challenge us to see God in new ways. By using powerpoint and video clips we use media to enhance the worship experience making it multisensory and appealing to all ages. The Bible is our foundation and God's love, shown to us through Jesus Christ, is the lens through which we read and study it. We hope to build a loving Christian community on the Cassia, drawing not only from English speaking people in the north of Rome but from the entire region. We are a new church planted in Rome by the International Baptist Convention.

We do not view our Summary of Basic Beliefs as a creed or a statement to which people are forced to subscribe, but rather it is a basic summary of beliefs held by this church. These beliefs and practices emerge from the Bible, which is our standard for faith. Read more
Giving to RIC
While Rome International Church is supported through prayer and other resources from the International Baptist Convention, the church is actually completely dependant on the financial contributions of those who attend the services and participate in the ministry. For those who wish to give in EUROS, you may do so by placing your gift into the offering plate in an envelope with your name on it during the worship services on Sundays. For those who wish to give in DOLLARS, you can do so through our partner organization "International Baptist Church Ministries." You can GIVE ON LINE AT by selecting:Rome Int'l Church.
OR you can make your check out to IBCM, putting "Rome International Church" in the memo line and placing it in the offering plate, or else mail it yourself to IBCM, P.O. Box 833276, Richardson, TX 75083-3276. USA. This has tax advantages for US tax payers.
